Construction of the Phoenix State Industrial Park Within the Region Has Reached the Final Stage
The first working meeting was held at the construction site of the Phoenix State Industrial Park with SICAME LLC, which acts as a contractor and is a Russian subsidiary of SICAME Group (France). During the meeting the current issues were discussed related to performing startup and commissioning works and putting the main infrastructure facility, which is a transformer substation, into operation to supply energy to new production facilities built by the residents of the Phoenix State Industrial Park.
It should be recalled that the substation has the capacity of 22.25 MW. Before the substation was mounted by the contractor representatives, more than 7 km of high-voltage power line had been installed. The launch of the substation at the Phoenix Industrial Park is scheduled for August 2018.
The participants of the meeting included the government agencies and representatives of the companies responsible for the project of industrial park construction, Regional Office of Capital Construction of the Smolensk Region, as well as employees of MRSK Centr-Smolenskenergo PJSC subsidiary. During the meeting employees of the Investment Development Corporation of the Smolensk Region, which acts as a managing company for the Phoenix State Industrial Park, verified high quality of the work performed and discussed construction stages to be performed at the site with contractor specialists, representing SIKAM LLC.
According to the prescribed time schedule, the works related to startup and commissioning as well as to putting the substation into operation are currently completing. Construction of engineering infrastructure facilities such as water supply and disposal facilities, access roads and other onsite utility systems within the park performed by the contractor is also at the final stage. It is expected to complete the utility infrastructure facilities by the end of November 2018.
