Proizvodstvennaya Energeticheskaya Kompaniya (Power Generating Company) has become a resident of the Phoenix State Industrial Park located in the Smolensk Region. This decision was made at the meeting held by the Investment Policy Committee representing the Administration of the Smolensk Region and chaired by Rostislav Rovbel, Deputy Governor.

According to the information posted on the official website of the Phoenix Industrial Park managing company, one of the Park residents, Walzmatic company, has started engineering surveys on the provided land plot since May, 28.

The first working meeting was held at the construction site of the Phoenix State Industrial Park with SICAME LLC, which acts as a contractor and is a Russian subsidiary of SICAME Group (France). During the meeting the current issues were discussed related to performing startup and commissioning works and putting the main infrastructure facility, which is a transformer substation, into operation to supply energy to new production facilities built by the residents of the Phoenix State Industrial Park.

In the course of the meeting held by the Investment Policy Committee chaired by Rostislav Rovbel, Deputy Governor of the Smolensk Region, there was discussed an issue related to assigning a resident status to Walzmatic Plant, LLC (“Zavod Walzmatic” OOO) within the PHOENIX State Industrial Park.

It has taken place the working meeting on implementation of the investment project of the first resident of the industrial Phoenix park of the Alvidprof company.

At the request of the Governor Alexey Ostrovsky the Smolensk region took part in the competitive selection on providing of subsidy from the federal budget for the building of infrastructure of industrial parks made by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. 

The Corporation of investment development of the Smolensk region has held negotiations with the management of the company Walzmatic (the Russian producer of the logistic equipment for greenhouses) in Smolensk. Following the results of the business meeting the company has expressed interest in localization of production in the territory of the region with a possibility of expansion of a model range of the production and the subsequent full transfer of production on the platform of the state industrial park Phoenix.

The meeting of representatives of Administration of the Smolensk region and the management of the company UNIA, the largest Polish producer of agricultural machinery, took place in Smolensk. There was discussed an issue of cooperation in the territory of the region.

It should be reminded that within the Government contract on highway and on-site networks of engineering infrastructure of the state industrial park Phoenix, the company SIKAME (the Russian branch of the group of companies SICAME) finishes construction of the main object of engineering infrastructure, a transformer substation from which the new enterprises will receive energy.
