Within the framework of the Smolensk Regional Duma meeting, the deputies promoted a bill which establishes a right for investment tax deduction in the region when calculating income tax. The document was developed by the core-business Department upon an initiative of the Governor Alexey Ostrovsky and is aimed at decreasing investor tax burden.
Deputies of the Smolensk Regional Duma promoted the legislative initiatives of the Governor Alexey Ostrovsky to take measures aimed at minimizing the regional economy loss due to the effects of coronavirus. Amendments to the regional legislation are aimed at reducing the tax rate for entrepreneurs operating in the most affected areas under coronavirus spreading. This allows decreasing a tax burden and supporting the business under current difficult conditions.
The Phoenix Industrial Park`s residents are now fully provided with electricity. A digital transformer, which is the main park`s infrastructural facility, is under voltage, and is ready to provide an electricity load to the park`s residents at the lowest tariff. For example, the park`s enterprises will pay not 6 rubles per kW/h, but about 4.5 rubles for providing the average voltage level. The residents shouldn`t overpay for the transformation; they will be provided with electricity from the power center directly.
Smolensk Shoe Factory LLC, which is the Phoenix state industrial park`s resident, began developing the land plot. Currently, there is fencing the building land, and constructing a construction camp. In addition, there is carried out connection to power supply networks of the construction site.
Smolensk Shoe Factory LLC has become an official resident of the Phoenix State Industrial Park located in the Smolensk Region. This issue has been considered during a regular session of the Commission on Investment Policy attached to the Administration of the Smolensk Region and chaired by Governor of the Smolensk Region Alexey Ostrovsky.
Dubravia Production Enterprise and Golubtsov Evgeniy Vladimirovich Individual Entrepreneur have become new residents of the Phoenix State Industrial Park. The companies will deal with woodworking, furniture production and stretched ceiling installation.
An official signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement has been held between the Administration of the Smolensk Region and Dubravia production enterprise during the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. The document has been signed by Governor Alexey Ostrovsky and company CEO Maxim Nechitalenko.
Proizvodstvennaya Energeticheskaya Kompaniya (Power Generating Company), an electrical power equipment manufacturer, which has recently become a resident of the Phoenix State Industrial Park, has taken part in two international exhibitions, such as EnergyExpo2018 (Belarus) and PowerExpo Almaty 2018 (Kazakhstan). This has become possible through the assistance of the Export Support Centre of the Smolensk Region, which has undertaken expenditures on leasing the exhibition space, paid registration fees and partially covered the costs for the exhibition stand designing. The company's participation in exhibitions has led to holding negotiations with Belarusian and Kazakh partners and making arrangements on the products’ supply to new customers.
As part of the cooperation agreement, signed by the Regional Administration and X5 Retail Group management during the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi this February, Governor Alexey Ostrovsky has visited the Moscow-North distribution centre and has learnt about its operating principle. The region’s chief executive has also held a working meeting with Stanislav Naumov, Vice-President of the company, concerning the possibility of undertaking common projects in the region, such as, establishing a similar centre within the Phoenix State Industrial Park.
